Change root password
The first thing to do in a new RT installation is to change the database root user password. The default password is 'password' and provided this user has all rights in the database, we need to change this.
Log in the web interface of RT and click on the home page in 'preferences' Click then in 'About me'and enter your new password twice in the 'Password' fields 'New Password' and 'Retype Password' and click on 'Save
